“Adventures in Wonderbrand” was a collection of graphic design and ceramic work exploring the creation of functional and commercial art. The exhibition opened on May 7th in the Gypsy Ted II Student Gallery, at McMurry and remained on view until May 12th, with a closing reception held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. following McMurry’s commencement ceremony. This exhibition was part of my completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Graphic Design with a minor in Information
Technology. In addition to the art pieces created for the show, I was also in charge of marketing the event, hanging and lighting the gallery, preparing materials for the reception, and taking down all of the pieces at the end of the week.
